The second is the banding on the PS output. The normal renderer the editor uses ignores the gradient_steps_editor setting. It always draws gradients as smoothly as it can by creating a raster image where it determines the appropriate color for each pixel. That's all done in C and it's fast enough to not slow you down. Also, if you want to change those settings it's probably better to add them to ~/.sketch/preferences.py as e.g: preferences.gradient_steps_print = 150 Make sure to quit Skencil before you edit that file, though.
