This should not be a critical error (even if breaks automatic discovery
of peers in the local network). It could be probably fixed using a
non-local address. Just drop the -a 127.0.0.1 option and see what happens.

I guess it is running, just hidden in your systray. Look for a grey or
green icon: its left-button and right-button menus will let you control
what's going on.
