Hello, I cannot really isolate the problem, but I can provide you with a clear example of this issue: The code segments below are extracts from the test case and the form code that I have an issue with. It seems that the only way to surely do this is to do a direct post in the form of $this->post(.....), which i'd rather not to. Here is the select control on the form: -------------------------------------- <select name="pk" id="pk" tabindex="0"> <option value=""></option> <option value="6030">Bathurst TTC</option> <option value="115661">Bayview TTC & Sheppard</option> <option value="6034">Broadview & Queen</option> <option value="6045">Broadview TTC</option> <option value="245958">Carlaw & Queen</option> <option value="6041">Carlton & Parliament</option> </select> Here is the code segment that fails: ------------------------------------ class My_Tests extends WebTestCase { private $app_location; function setUp() { $this->app_location= SERVER."/admin/locations.php"; $this->get($this->app_location); } function tearDown(){ $this->get($this->app_location); } function test_LocationSearch(){ //the following two lines attempt to set the select control to the appropriate value //by setting it to the actual value or the one being displayed //but they both fail //and select control remains set to the defaul value of "" $this->setField('pk','Bayview TTC & Sheppard'); //fails $this->setField('pk', 'Bayview TTC & Sheppard'); //fails } } I'm sorry, but I cannot be more specific than this. It's also a tricky one, so I'll need a test case.
