Pierre, Can you offer any guidance or point me in a direction for references on how *best* to set the upper & lower limits, beyond "for the lower and upper tail extrapolation, [1] the Min. parameter must be set to a value smaller than the minimum sampled value, while [2] the Max. parameter must be set to a value larger than the maximum sampled value"? My thought would be to randomly sample from some distribution (of extreme values??) as long as the sampled value met conditions [1] & [2]. What are your thoughts?
