Hi everyone, Until today, there was a major bug that prevented Semantic Forms from working successfully with the upcoming version of Semantic MediaWiki, 1.6 - the "Has default form" property couldn't be queried. Today this was fixed, so if you have SVN and you update your code to the latest trunk version for both SMW and SF, everything should in theory work (though if you're upgrading from SMW 1.5.6, you may need to refresh your SMW data as well). I'm hoping to release SF 2.2 at some point soon, so it would be great if people could try this out on their wikis, and let me/us know if you encounter any problems. For that matter, developers of various other SMW-based extensions have been working in the last few months to get their extensions working with SMW 1.6, so it would be good to hear if you encounter problems with any other extensions you have installed as well. (If you do encounter a problem with an extension, please first make sure that you're using the latest SVN version of that extension.) Also, in theory these extensions should be working with every version of MediaWiki from around 1.14 to 1.19 (yes, there really is a 1.19 already), so if you're feeling adventurous, feel free to upgrade to the latest MediaWiki as well. Thanks, Yaron |
