[Semediawiki-user] install problem

hello,

I migrate to a new OS (xubuntu <-- don't know anything about it). I managed
to get the mediawiki to work and other extensions except. SMW when installed
nothing happen, no Special:SMWadmin or it doesn't even appear in the
special:Version and nothing mention in the apache error log. Any insight to
what i could be doing wrong or proper way of installation.
