Well, the real problem, reading through the deletion discussion, seems to be just that the template adds too much to the page ("This template adds 163.2 KiB to each of the 1,909 articles to which it is attached, and that is a big problem for anyone who is not using a broadband connection"), as opposed to it being too hard to maintain. So I don't personally think this is a good opportunity to plug SMW. -Yaron On Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 10:40 AM, Sergey Chernyshev < ser...@gm...> wrote: > Guys, you have a chance to help Brion explain why SMW can help get rid of > Large nested templates. > > Sergey > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: Domas Mituzas <mid...@gm...> > Date: Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 3:47 AM > Subject: Re: [Wikitech-l] Large nested templates (example: > NYRepresentatives) > To: Wikimedia developers <wik...@li...> > > > > On Apr 13, 2009, at 4:02 AM, Brian wrote: > > > This is one example of a problem that Semantic MediaWiki solves. > > Can you show example solution, instead of an assertion?
