Hello I have base 1.0. I have 300 000 records in events table. i entered $BASE_HOME/base_maintenance.php and click rebuild cache to recreate acid_event table. My problem is that this process is working for 48 hours now and it has still not finished. When on other console i check in database how many records is in acid_event after 5 minutes from start i received 1194 and now after 48 hours it's still 1194. Machine is fast (Pentium III, 1Ghz of memory). This postgresql process is still working using 97% of CPU and 200MB of memory. The only logs from database server are like this: LOG: recycled transaction log file "000000010000001C" LOG: recycled transaction log file "000000010000001D" but database is working correctly because i can view everything using base, and new snort events are being added. What can i do, where is the problem, is it normal ??? Should i migrate to 1.1.2 ? How can i do it ? Do i have to recreate database tables ? Thanx Michal |
