Start from a simple configuration, and add a new group. The resulting file is invalid. [root]# ./scstadmin -write_config foo Collecting current configuration: done. Writing current configuration to file 'foo'.. All done. [root]# cat foo # Automatically generated by SCST Configurator v2.0.0. TARGET_DRIVER ib_srpt { TARGET ib_srpt_target_1 { rel_tgt_id 1 enabled 0 } } [root]# ./scstadmin -add_group a -driver ib_srpt -target ib_srpt_target_1 Collecting current configuration: done. -> Making requested changes. -> Adding new group 'a' to driver/target 'ib_srpt/ib_srpt_target_1': done. -> Done. All done. [root]# ./scstadmin -write_config foo Collecting current configuration: done. Writing current configuration to file 'foo'.. All done. [root]# cat foo # Automatically generated by SCST Configurator v2.0.0. TARGET_DRIVER ib_srpt { TARGET ib_srpt_target_1 { rel_tgt_id 1 enabled 0 GROUP a } <----- here. no opening brace, or extra closing brace } } If I use scstadmin -config foo, it will choke on it.
