hello, Scst-devel. After searching of internet I'm found this parameters of kernel. Now they are set to values shown below. net.core.rmem_max = 8738000 net.core.rmem_default = 1048576 net.core.wmem_max = 6553600 net.core.wmem_default = 1048576 net.ipv4.tcp_mem = 1048576 2097152 4194304 net.ipv4.tcp_rmem = 8192 873800 8738000 net.ipv4.tcp_wmem = 4096 655360 6553600 our iSCSI target system is raid 5 of 4 2TB sata disks. while we are using default parameters kernel had many memory page allocation errors, resulting in inaccessible storage system. after modifying to this values we are forgot this problems till now. Last night during a heavy load on the server(backup, raid rechecking), the problem returned. How i must configure this values to forget about this memory page allocation problems? Also I can't fully understand what this values do. -- best regards, Romb mailto:ro...@ar... |
