It should be replaced with a newer icon, but also one that represents what SCIM does (ie. a button with a foreign character on it). Attached is a replacement for data/pixmaps which replaces: http://is.gd/hpZ7 for http://is.gd/hpZy The new icon is better, as it represent a button on a keyboard, but also has a foreign character on it, symbolizing what SCIM does. Also attached is a patch which changes extras/setup/scim-setup.desktop.in to use the accessories-character-map icon from the gnome-icon-theme. It is better to use this, rather than the icon in data/pixmaps, because the icon can then resize if featured on a menu with icons larger than 32x32 (default). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: ryo-dairiki (ryo-dairiki) Date: 2009-02-21 14:26 Message: This is not a "Bug Report", so I'll move this to "Feature Request". And, please post a notice to the scim-devel-list. I cannot change the design of icons without developers' agreement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=650542&aid=2576193&group_id=108454 |
