I installed GtkExtra 2.1.1, libscigrapgica 2.1.1, and
scigraphica 2.1.0 from src in Fedora Core 4.
As suggested by the INSTALLATION TIPS, I set the ev
SG_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/local/lib/scigraphica/2.1.0/plugins/
and run scigraphica. However, I still cannot see the
menus and toolbars.
Any suggestions?

Try version 2.0.0.
I could not get v2.1.0 to work with the menus.
I works with 2.0.0
The only thing is, that I have no tic labels.
Following error message occurs:
** (scigraphica:17489): WARNING **: PS fonts have not been
initialized. Use gtk_psfont_init first.

To my comment "Try version 2.0.0"
I'm working with SUSE9.3 on a mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP-M 2400+.
I was some hassle to compile. I had to compile all the way
from glib to
scigraphica.
I had to install gtk-config, which is obsolete, because I
could not get it with
pkg-config to run.
Another thing is:
col("B")=col("A") on the worksheet is fine, but not
col("B")=1/col("A").
The console says:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in ?
ValueError: function not supported
Any ideas?

No joy either with the menus or toolbars
Using Suse 10.0
Installed following pacakges;
libxml-2.0 AND libxml-2.0-devel (required)
compiled from source the following;
gtk_extra-2.1.1
libscigraphica-2.1.1
numarray-1.4.1
I have tried BOTH scigraphica-2.1.0 AND scigraphica-2.0.0
neither display menus or toolbars - all I get is worksheet
tab (can access worksheet) and plot tab
I even set SG_PLUGIN_PATH envor variable and still no joy
Any ideas?
