hello, I have written a code using SBCL with threads to be run on a grid. With no surprise, I don't succeed in compiling SBCL with threads as specified in customize-target-features since the kernel I must use on the grid is actually linux kernel 2.4 (redhat 9) on x86 (not 64) and it's actually not possible to update it to 2.6. For now, I only need threads to build UDP client/server archirecture for a multi-agent system. My question is : - does it exist a way (patch...) to make threads available on SBCL with linux kernel 2.4, even if it's not optimised or non posix ? - is it possible to make any kind of lisp (multi) process compatible with linux kernel 2.4 (since it was in OpenMCL ppc) ? Thank you for your help or any idea, Fred Voisin |
