In Spain=2C a person has two surnames=2C the first
of which is the father=27s first surname=2C and the second of
which is the mother=27s second surname=2E  So although
a woman=27s surname(s) doesn=27t propagate as well as a man=27s=2C
it does survive unto the first generation=2E  I=27m just
