I'm often afraid that stuff > people report will get lost in the waste realms of the mailinglist. I don't know if any decision here will be a result of unanimity (ha!), majority, or dictatorial edict, but for my part I don't think the project would benefit from moving away from using files in the source checkout to track issues. The actual number of issues anybody cares about is typically smallish, and the number of people who are in a position to do anything about them not large enough to need anything like bugzilla or trac or whatever. Why can't people who think they've found bugs post patches against BUGS in the way people submit patches to code? -- Richard |
