SBCL itself is probably working fine, but something in your environment screws up SB-POSIX. Installing the SBCL you have just built is OK, but if you install it as-is SB-POSIX will *not* be installed along with it, which is not good as many things (like Slime) depend on it. Assuming SB-POSIX build, but didn't pass its tests you can trick install.sh to install it by doing touch contrib/sb-posix/test-passed but it would be better to figure out what went wrong and fix it -- be the problem in SBCL or with your setup. If you run sh make-target-contrib.sh &> log in the directory after the failed build, and then look for the actual SB-POSIX failure in the log (either a build or a test failure), what does it look like?
