Hi, I am running SBCL 0.9.4.26 on Linux 2.6.9-1.667 / AMD64, but built for x86. When I start it using a previously dumped core, it reports around 900M of virtual memory used (and around 70M resident/shared). I suppose this is what is mentioned in the man page and I am fine with that. However, when I slime-connect to it and play with the repl, the virtual memory use jumps in 4M chunks very quickly. Is this a known behavior (of SBCL or SLIME), and is there a way around? Thanks, Alex __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.yahoo.com |
