You could run it like this: SBCL_HOME=contrib/ src/runtime/sbcl --core output/sbcl.core Not that it should make any difference ... Thanks to Christophe who built it for me I could test 0.9.2.34 and 0.9.2.40 on sourceforge, but neither showed the failure you describe. The binaries are here: http://www-jcsu.jesus.cam.ac.uk/~csr21/sbcl-0.9.2.40-sparc-sunos-binary.tar.bz2 Could you please test it and if it runs tell us about the the host lisp compiler, C compiler, assembler, etc versions; and if it doesn't then describe your system following the non-existent bug reporting guidelines: - os, kernel, libc version - locale - ulimit -a Eh, describe everything anyway.
