There is a pulldown menu instead that you can invoke by clicking the right mouse button. There are also keyboard shortcuts like in xtpen: n - next m - previous r - run . - stop q - quit d - change direction s - slow down animation f - speed up animation > And I see this in the terminal window. > > freeglut (sfpen): Unable to create direct context rendering for window > 'OpenGL pen' > This may hurt performance. > freeglut (sfpen): Unable to create direct context rendering for window > 'freeglut menu' > This may hurt performance. This simply means that you do not have OpenGL hardware acceleration. Results will not look different from what xtpen or opengl with acceleration would give you, just the performance might be slower. > We work on head node connected from windows using VNCViewer. > The Linux is centos. If you install proper GL drivers on that machine, than the message should go away, I believe. Although, it might be unnecessary on a head node. Otherwise, you can switch to xtpen, for which you'll have to install extra X11 development libraries (libXaw-devel) anyway. Regards. |
