I agree. But to address the other comment, I think we also may have two sets of online docs, for "stable" (referring to the current release), and "devel" (referring to the current HEAD). I'm not sure what automated services sf.net allows us to run these days. It may be possible to have the "devel" version be updated by some post-commit hook.
