Rosegarden Music Software ========================= London, 19th June 2003 ---------------------- The Rosegarden Music Software project would like to announce that it will be showing the latest version of its music software (Rosegarden-4) at the Linux User and Developer Expo at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK on the 24th-26th June 2003. The Rosegarden project produces professional music software that runs on the Linux(*) operating system. The Rosegarden team will be appearing at the expo to provide demonstrations and talk about their work and the future of the project as it starts to roll out to end-users. This follows on from their successful appearance at last October's UK Linux Expo in London. Rosegarden-4 is a MIDI and digital audio capable sequencer and notation editor for Linux. It allows the user to record, edit and produce music on their PC. It is freely available under the terms of the GNU Public Licence. Rosegarden-4 can be used with any major Linux distribution.
