Observe that there is a blue selection rectangle looking thing extending approximately 10 pixels into the bottom ruler area 4. Hit the delete track button 5. Observe that approximately 10 pixels of the defunct track 17 are visible in the area that was previously outlined 6. Delete the next track 7. Observe the trashy appearance with a mangled gray selection box on track 15, a black bar, then remnants of track 16 8. Continue deleting tracks 9. Observe that the remnants of track 16 persist, and there is a blue selection rectangle going up and up and up Rosegarden 14.12 is the newest release build I have ready to fire. I repeated all this with 14.12 and observed the same blue selection rectangle. That's probably attributable to changes in Qt, or something I simply never noticed before. The trashy appearance and unwanted graphical artifacts do not occur with 14.12. Delete tracks, and there is no trash. I made no attempt to pin these results to a particular revision, and have no idea when this behavior was introduced. -- D. Michael McIntyre |
