Since you already have a copy of the source code, you just need to make sure you have Qt Linguist installed, and use it to translate data/locale/it.ts Here you go, Mario. Instead of answering your question in this email, I took some time out to finish updating the instructions for translators on the wiki: http://rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/translator:add_or_update_translation Let me know how you get along with this. If it leaves you with questions, please do ask them, and I will keep working on the instructions so that everybody has a good plan to follow. I'll also mention that any other rosegarden-user readers who have an interest in working on translations, we are in a string freeze now, and I'm giving everyone as much time as I can to get a good translation together for February. We have had almost 100 string changes since the freeze, but very few of these are completely new strings. Most of them are from source code corrections that have made existing translations "obsolete," and these need only minor modification to be up to date again. I'm afraid it isn't quite possible to have a really hard freeze yet at this stage of development, but every string I change makes more work for me, so I am doing everything I can to keep the work to a minimum. -- D.
