A suggestion : Why not to use the notes and rests already on the staffs as buttons to select the toolbar and the icon simultaneously? The mouse middle button, which is currently unused, might be used or maybe some other combination of mouse and key. It would reduce both the number of clicks and the distance to cover with the mouse and would be usable in the new scheme as in the old one. Yves |
