Dear RG Team: Thank you for all of the help so far. It linked! I did: $ make -f qt4-makefile.deb clean $ make -k -f qt4-makefile.deb in my qt4 directory I have: -rwxr-xr-x 1 julie julie 191711914 2009-01-14 23:16 rosegarden I ran it with it with: $ ./rosegarden and got: ./rosegarden: error while loading shared libraries: libkdeui.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory My libkdeui.so.5 is located on my Ubuntu 7.10 system: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 2008-07-25 09:36 libkdeui.so.5 -> libkdeui.so.5.0.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 34152844 2008-05-03 04:21 libkdeui.so.5.0.0 So, it is a symlink. This appears to be in the qt4-makefile.deb paths that are set. What to do from here? Should I svn co and try again or is there something I can fix here? export an addition on my path to point to the directory or something? Sincerely, Julie S. |
