If this is not a bug, please say so, otherwise I'll log it on sf. This is a critical bug which prevents the entry of valid musical notation. There is a workaround which unfortunately requires you to join your segments. How to reproduce the bug 1. Create a segment of 1 bar in the track editor 2. Create a second segment of 10 bars length on the same track starting from bar 2, i.e. immediately after the end of the first segment. 3. Select the first segment only 4. Open the first segment in the notation editor 5. Insert four 1/4 notes (crotchets) completely filling the bar 6. Close the notation editor 7. Shift-click on the second segment to add it to the selection, so both segments are now selected. Do not join the segments into one segment. 8. Open both selected segments in the notation editor 9. Try inserting notes into bar 2 which is the first bar of the second segment. * 10. Observe that no notes can be inserted into bar 2. The workaround is unfortunately to avoid editing two segments simultaneously in the notation editor by first joining the two segments in the track editor before editing the single joined segment in the notation editor.
