The part=20 splitting ("auto-ranging split point") still impresses, and it=20 definitely does a better job in general of quantization than the=20 new-notation-quantization code, and it renders nicely, and it _is_=20 certainly fast... but I haven't yet seen much that I can't at least=20 envisage us being able to do too. Of course I've only looked at importing MIDI so far, since that's the=20 focus of the new-notation-quantization work. I haven't looked at any=20 of the editing or layout code itself. I had a bit of trouble working=20 out how to select anything, but that's about all I've tried to do. Chris |
