Are there xruns reported at > the same time? > > Good luck, > Mark Thanks Mark, The jack settings are as my first post: Realtime, softmode, Force 16bit, Priority 0, Frames/Period 16, Rate 44100, Periods/Buffer 1, Playback only. But turning these things up and down doesn't seem to make the xruns & RG reports come any more or less often. I've tried setups that report latencies from 3.3 to several hundred lol. I'm running Gnome atm and I'm thinking that since it seems to happen more often during times when more windows are opened it may be an issue like that. That's why I'm thinking that I'd just like RG to shut up about it. I mean I can HEAR when JACK's dropping frames. It's funny when RG pops up a requester like that it causes JACK to drop more frames and RG to pop up another requestoer lol. -- Bunny! |
