Hi all, While trying to add an application to the while list I ran in an issue where now matter what application I put in, I got an error while trying to run rkhunter This is when using rkhunter-1.4.2-4.el6.noarch on SLC6 (RHEL build) ie: [ ~]# cat /etc/rkhunter.conf | grep PORT_WHITELIST # PORT_WHITELIST="/home/user1/abc /opt/xyz TCP:2001 UDP:32011" PORT_WHITELIST="/bin/ls" [ ~]# /usr/bin/rkhunter --cronjob --nocolors --report-warnings-only Invalid entry specified in PORT_WHITELIST configuration option: /bin/ls This appears to be identical to the issue found in the debian tracker: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;bug=794315 However I don’t see anything in the rkhunter bugs Thanks in Advance Chris |
