Hi Davy, thanks for going this far! Davy Durham wrote: > Try the attached patch file... This may be a difference in our libalsa versions Unfortunately I get the same result with this patch. Using ALSA version 1.0.8 from CVS. Perhaps I patched wrong? I got to here: bash-2.05b# patch <alsa_crash.patch can't find file to patch at input line 8 Perhaps you should have used the -p or --strip option? The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |Index: src/backend/CALSASoundPlayer.cpp |=================================================================== |RCS file: /cvsroot/rezound/rezound/src/backend/CALSASoundPlayer.cpp,v |retrieving revision 1.1 |diff -c -r1.1 CALSASoundPlayer.cpp |*** src/backend/CALSASoundPlayer.cpp 28 Aug 2004 23:35:09 -0000 1.1 |--- src/backend/CALSASoundPlayer.cpp 4 Jun 2005 21:44:03 -0000 -------------------------- File to patch: so I pasted "src/backend/CALSASoundPlayer.cpp" into the line. Same with "src/backend/CALSASoundRecorder.cpp". d. -- derek holzer ::: http://www.umatic.nl ---Oblique Strategy # 66: "Emphasize repetitions" |
