Davy, I sent this jpeg both to you personally and to the list, expecting the list to strip it off. It is a screenshot of the changes following my inner crossfade replace paste. I had to change the check box from right only to copy to left only to replace paste. Unfortunately I no longer know the original range I used. But I did it by eyeball, not the numbers. My further assumptions are that I should be using parabolic since sound adds exponentially and a 100 msec crossfade to give more transition time. Incidentally, the original transfer of this tape was done into SoundForge some time back. I put SoundForge markers into the file at each track point. These markers appear as regions in the ReZound (see the one in the jpeg). Does this mean that ReZound regions are compatible with SoundForge markers? How do ReZound regions relate to the cues that translate into cdrdao track breaks? The CD burn function does not accept the regions as cues/track breaks. Here is the commandline output of the failure to burn. There is also a window with the "Total data to be burned is too large: 82.5 minutes" error. I generated this using "-driver generic-mmc --overburn" in the options window. These are options that gcdmaster passes to cdrdao. bash-2.05b# rezound using path '/usr/share/rezound' for share data directory Warning: You do not have a LADSPA_PATH environment variable set. attemping to run command: '/usr/bin/cdrdao' scanbus 2>&1 | grep '[0-9],[0-9], [0-9]:' | head -1 | cut -f1 -d':' error - Total data to be burned is too large: 82.5 minutes I will continue to experiment with the dropout replacement. Many thanks, John |
