Davy, I have rebuilt the rezound with oss support. A result is the same - about 80% CPU after opening recording dialog. It is fortunately for me, because this fact tells the problem is not in audio io, I think :-), and one of the main interesting rezound's feature (for me, of course) is jack support. Moreover, I have tried last dev. fox (1.1.41) with the same result. I'll be happy if you will find a minute to point me, which steps may be usefull to localize the problem (for example, where to insert some debug printf's. I'm java-, not-C- developer, so it's difficult to me quickly recognize key points in unfamiliar code). Thanks! Must I supply some additional info? Well, I just tried ReZound0.9 with jackd-0.5 and it didn't show more than 10% CPU on my 2.3ghz machine. I'll try the latest jack and see if anything different.. if you don't hear from me, then I still don't see it. As I've said before: ReZound is not very JACK compliant at this point. That's something I'm working on for the next release. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: ApacheCon 2003, 16-19 November in Las Vegas.
