#2 Auto rotate/resize TIFF

How about rather than bailing out when trying to send
a tiff that had a width of other than 1728, you look
examine orientation (it might be a landscape image)
and rotate it if necessary. If rotation alone is
insufficient, automatically resize the image to
something usable.
