Even as only an outside observer (I am NOT a developer), my first request would be for more information about what exactly has changed. Was the old logitech keyboard also a USB keyboard? Since you had the problem with new keyboard have you retried the old keyboard to verify that it still works? Stuff like that.
It may also be useful to include info about exactly which Mac Mini you are using and which version/fix level of OSX is installed on it.
