Hello. I'm a macbook aluminium(late 2008) user. I was using refit without a problem. But I wanted to try Debian, & when I couldn't I tried Lnux Mint Debian Edition. After these installations, I've decided to turn back Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit. After the installation, Refit didn't recognize my partition. There are 3 partitions: Grub, Mac, & Linux icon. Linux icon doesn't works. Also I can see Grub partition is from Linux Mint, it doesn't work s well. Only Apple icon works well. Later I've deleted Refit & opened it with "alt"(option) key. When I select windows Ubuntu booted without a problem. Both operation systems works well. But I wanna use Refit. Is there any way to fix Refit, I really like Refit opening.

Note: I've got 1TB WD HDD at my macbook & got 4 partitions: 150GB Mac Sysyem, 96GB Ubuntu, 4.1GB Swap Area, 750 Mac Os X Extended(not journaled) disk space for archiving music & videos.

Use http://members.shaw.ca/joevt/dumpvols2.sh.zip in Terminal.app to describe your partitions.

Also, list the partitions (the exact text in the same order (left to right)) that rEFIt shows in it's menu.

dumpvols2.sh doesn't do work. It just lists information. Do you mean to say that you were able to use the information to diagnose and fix your problem?
