Hi. Any chance you want to integrate the 'topal' patches for using GPG etc. through alpine? There is a debian package 'topal' with these patches, but you have to apply them by hand and recompile alpine. Seems like really smart features to have in the main source. They don't do any crypto so there's no export concerns, they just hook into gpg and ssh if they are available. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/phil.brooke/topal/rel-72/README.html#pine-patches -- Mark Hedges PGP key: http://www.scriptdolphin.com/MarkHedges.asc ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 21 Jun 2010 13:56:37 -0400 (EDT) From: Asheesh Laroia <as...@as...> To: Mark Hedges <he...@sc...>, 58...@bu... I'm lazy. Hi Mark, Thanks for the bug report! It seems you're referring to these patches -- http://homepage.ntlworld.com/phil.brooke/topal/rel-72/README.html#pine-patches I wonder if you could talk to the realpine-devel list on sourceforge.net and see if they're willing to integrate them into the real upstream package? That would be totally rocking -- then they'd be in upstream for everyone to enjoy. Otherwise I will take a closer look soonish. -- Asheesh. -- A healthy male adult bore consumes each year one and a half times his own weight in other people's patience. -- John Updike |
