Copying the razor files in bin won't help you.. Razor and spamassassin are both perl modules, so there's also perl code floating about in /usr/local/lib/perl5 too. SA calls razor using the perl modules not the binaries. It sounds like you are the victim of installing with a broken CPAN that tried to install a new copy of perl as a "dependency". I bet you'll find that /usr/bin/perl and /usr/local/bin/perl are different versions of perl. I had a similar problem, my solution was to obliterate the copy of perl in /usr/local, as well as all traces of spamassassin and razor there. I then upgraded cpan (using cpan to upgrade itself) and started the whole install of sa and razor from scratch. After that it correctly wound up installed in /usr/* At 11:54 PM 5/28/2003 +0200, Jocelyn Fournier wrote: >Hi, > >Thanks for the suggestion. >I have just copied the razor file in /usr/local/bin but unfornately it >doesn't change anything. >Moreover according to the spamassassin log : > >May 28 23:50:04 anedroide2 spamd[23228]: debug: Current PATH is: >/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/h >ome/sly/bin/:/usr/local/mysql/bin/:/usr/local/apache/bin/ > >the PATH should be ok :/ > >I even also registered razor as root but it doesn't change anything :( > >Any other idea ? ;) > >(the weird thing is DCC and Pyzor are working like a charm, only razor is >affected by the problem) > >Thanks, > Jocelyn |
