Hi all, I hope everybody's summer is going well. We've just released a new 1.7a version of RAMADDA - http://sourceforge.net/projects/ramadda/files/ramadda1.7a/ This has some major changes to the old wget script functionality - http://ramadda.org/repository/entry/show/Home/RAMADDA+Information/How+Tos/Bulk+Download?entryid=126b6e75-58ad-4a44-8dc9-87e307792568 This allows you to copy an entire RAMADDA entry hierarchy onto your file system. The script creates directories that correspond to the RAMADDA folders and will incrementally download the files. This only works on Mac and Linux - it uses curl and other shell commands. I haven't tested this on Windows/cygwin. I did change the old output="wget..." output identifiers. If anyone has these hard coded in some download script or if this change causes a problem please let me know. You can also fetch metadata files (see docs above) along with the files, so for example you can grab an ATOM xml file or THREDDS catalog. If problems with this new service or if you have any ideas about new functionality please send out a note. -Jeff |
