@quickstep: I've made some progress with the linux implementation, the alpha version is coming closer...

Well, I released a new version yesterday. I removed a dependency, changed logging, added support for more browsers and in general made the code ready for new features...

Today I released a pre_alpha version of quickstep. Please make sure to read the release notes( http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?group_id=166824&release_id=417627 ) before starting testing.
This is pre-alpha software! It will not damage anyhting but don't expect anything to work.
