I've enclosed a working JNI and C++ exceptions example based on the earlier exception example. It assumes you have JAVA_HOME set correctly and that you have javac and javah in your path. To build it do: ./configure make Then to test it: make check The configury is a bit of a hack at the moment as I'm using an old Automake. The newer 1.6.x releases have better java support.
