Is there a way to switch a relay's type? The default for the relays is NO (Normally Open), but I'm trying to build a circuit that utilizes an NC (Normally Closed) relay, and I'm not entirely sure how I would go about that, or even if I'm able to.

I have the same problem. I'm trying to make SPDT relay but to do this I need at least one NormallyOpen SPST relay. Is it possible without editing Source Code?

I agree, it would be nice to have a "Initial state" parameter like in the 'switch' component.
As a workaround a NC relay could be constructed out of 2 NO relays. The contact of the first relay would short the coil of the second. This way, the second relay would be normally closed.
