#86 inconsistent behaviour for resizing and moving multiple notes
Currently under qtractor, if you want to resize multiple notes you select the notes then resize one and all selected notes get resized. However, if you want to move multiple notes you have to select them then hold SHIFT before dragging one of them. This is inconsistent and confusing behaviour.
I would prefer it if there was no need to hold SHIFT when moving multiple selected notes - I don't see any need for it. If you only want to move one note then just select one note. If you disagree then you should change multiple note resizing to work the same way as multiple note moving ie require SHIFT be held down.
a bit of (behavioral) consistency has been added to svn trunk [r3715] aka. v0.5.12.5

oops! now we lost the discrete way to change velocities on notes that overlap in time and duration. dang.
the above fix is about to regression soon.

You've lost me there Rui - how did the shift key or whatever help modify overlapping notes?
If we can't use SHIFT for modifying multiple note durations, can you change it so we don't have to hold SHIFT to move multiple notes then please?
regression done and "behavior consistency" now shifted the other way around: you don't need to press shift/ctrl to drag+move multiple note events anymore
on svn trunk [r3717] aka. v0.5.12.6
maybe that's what you always wanted
