The Qtractor has it all! It is a wonderful, efficient, very user firendly program that has a promissing future. I trully am amazed by the good foundations that this project has as well as the direction it is headed in! The simple but slim GUI, slick machinery, ... This is a single piece of software that makes me believe more than ever in just how powerful and well directed open source can be, and how glad I am to have chosen this environment. Cudos to rncbc! Keep up the great work mate :)

Clean and potentially perfect....

Although not yet complete - as development stage - QTractor became my choice for music making. It is simple and extremely intuitive. Offering a high level of control over sounds, files, projects, connections it has what you need but nothing which doesn't make sense, imho. It supports a wide range of popular file formats, effect plug-ins and interfaces that, along with the seamless interaction with other applications through the JACK support, make any musical sketch a breeze and any composition a pleasure. Thank you Rui for your unbelievable work!
