Hi Rainer, the problem is indeed the different scaling. In QLGT the one and only map was defining the scale. Garmin maps had a logarithmic scale similar to the one QMapShack is using. TMS had their power of 2 scale. And raster maps had their basic scale multiplied by the zoom level. Thus every map had it's own scale matching it's requirements perfectly. QMapShack allows multiple maps with different scales and projections. It uses a logarithmic scale. See IDrawContext::scales. And you can define the projection. See View->Setup Map View. All maps have to be reprojected to that. This leads sometimes to a bit blurry view. For TMS maps you even have to finetune which level to use, as this influences the details. This is done by an extra scale. See CMapTMS.cpp line 448. So far I haven't found a scale to display all kind of maps perfectly. If one map is looking good there is another one that becomes blurry. But you are welcome to play with it.
