Folks, I've managed to get freebob-enabled jackd running on my Ubuntu system and would like to get a qjackctl that also has freebob options. I haven't found an Ubuntu amd64 package yet that seems to support it. I last installed qjackctl 0.2.20 from a package, which doesn't seem to have the options. I've been trying to build the latest from svn, but am fighting a configure error. As you can see from my output, I've got the qt 4.1.4, but I get "checking for Qt library version >= 3.1.1... no; Qt 3.1.1 or greater is required". Also, will the head have the freebob options? Should I be using a different branch? qjackctl$ ./configure --prefix=/usr checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out checking whether the C compiler works... yes checking whether we are cross compiling... no checking for suffix of executables... checking for suffix of object files... o checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes checking for gcc option to accept ISO C89... none needed checking how to run the C preprocessor... gcc -E checking for g++... g++ checking whether we are using the GNU C++ compiler... yes checking whether g++ accepts -g... yes checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... g++ -E checking for grep that handles long lines and -e... /bin/grep checking for egrep... /bin/grep -E checking whether gcc needs -traditional... no checking whether QTDIR environment variable is set... /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.1.4 checking for main in -lqt-mt... yes checking for Qt library version >= 3.1.1... no; Qt 3.1.1 or greater is required |
