(crossposted to dvdauthor/qdvdauthor -- not sure which is more appropriate for these questions) I created a DVD using qdvdauthor. It has a main menu, with two buttons, each of which should lead to a submenu. There should be music during the main menu. In totem, everything works fine: music plays behind the main menu, I can select either of the two options, and go through the submenus and select the chapter I want. In a relatively new standalone DVD player, there is no music behind the main menu, and I can only select the first button on the main menu but not the second one. The arrow keys on the DVD player don't allow me to move between the two buttons. I expect the music issue is not dvdauthor's fault, but would appreciate any tips on that. (Maybe it is qdvdauthor's fault). The original music file was a WAV file. I don't understand why the second menu option is not accessible on the standalone DVD player. By skipping chapters, I am able to reach the chapters that would be accessed through the second menu option submenu. The dvdauthor.xml file is here: http://adam.rosi-kessel.org/temp12/dvdauthor.xml The qdvdauthor xml file that generates the main menu mpg is here: http://adam.rosi-kessel.org/temp12/menu.xml dvdauthor v0.6.11 qdvdauthor 0.1.0 Otherwise, everything is Debian unstable. Any ideas? -- Adam Rosi-Kessel http://adam.rosi-kessel.org |
