+1 from me. Such a library of commonly used scripts could become a strong competition for gnuplot and the likes. I really love PyX, but I don't feel like I'm using 10% of its capabilities; advanced examples and ready-to-use scripts would provide a lot of interesting reading and a field for experimentation. D.
