Hello, I am currently trying to do a neat thing with a Webservice running on localhost, which will be contacted by some clientside Javascript served on a particular Webpage. For this matter, knowing that there are crossdomain security restrictions on regular browsers, I am using the SWF XmlHttpRequest tricks. So here is my problem: I need to serve both the webservice itself, and a file named crossdomains.xml on the same ip:port, so I need basically the SOAPpy webservice to serve both the soap methods and a page with that particular name. I got a look on the code and saw that theorically SOAPpy should serve GET requests: it does have a do_GET method on the request handler. However, when I try to access the service via http://localhost:some_port/ I get a Method not supported GET error. Also, doing some print 'somedebug' on the do_GET I see it is never called ! Can someone please give me a point of light ? Thank you very much for any help/time from you, Patricio _________________________________________________________________ News, entertainment and everything you care about at Live.com.
