You'll need to remove this rpm (rpm -e wxPythonGTK-py2.3-2.4.2.4-1) and install the py2.2 version instead. > rpm-python-4.2-0.69 > rpm404-python-4.0.4-8x.27 > libxslt-python-1.0.27-3 > gnome-python2-gtkhtml2-1.99.14-5 > gnome-python2-gconf-1.99.14-5 > mod_python-3.0.1-3 > postgresql-python-7.3.4-3.rhl9 > python-2.2.2-26 Here's the second problem, but in this case (as I suspected) it's my fault! :-( I've got 'python-base >= 2.2' as a dependency in the PythonCard RPM, but it should be just looking for 'python >= 2.2' instead. I'll fix my RPM build a bit later, but for now you can safely install the PythonCard RPM by forcing it to ignore the dependencies, once you've installed the right wxPythonGTK RPM as described above. The command to force the RPM install is: rpm -Uvh --nodeps PythonCardPrototype-0.7.2-1rh8.noarch.rpm Hope this helps, let us know how it goes. -- Regards Phil Edwards (ph...@mi...)
