It is actually distutils, not PyOpenGL that determines the compiler to use, we just use standard compiler options wherever possible. setup.py build --help-compiler will get you a list of available compiler names. Then build PyOpenGL with something like this: setup.py build --compiler=mingw32 (or likely 'gcc' in your case). HTH, Mike L. D.
